Managing Your Subscribers
Upon setup each customer is placed on the same billing cycle. Billing cycles start on the first day of the month until the first day of the next month. When a “Extend Due Date” request is submitted by the client the customers due date will automatically be extended until the beginning of the next month. If no “Extend Due Date” request is posted by the last day of the cycle, the customers service will automatically be suspended and 3 days later, the line will be cancelled.
For example, if you activate a customer on 4-10-2008, the customer will automatically be suspended on the morning of 5-1-2008 unless a “Extend Due Date” request is posted at which time the account cycle end date will automatically be extended a full cycle.
Temporarily Suspended Customers
As mentioned above, customers are suspended on their billing cycle end-date automatically. Clients can also suspend a customers service at anytime in real-time for any reason from within the online system. Once suspension takes place the end-user will no longer have access to the DSL services.
Full Disconnects / Cancellations
You can fully disconnect a customer just as easy as suspending them. Cancellation takes 3-7 business days at which point the account status will be changed from “Pending-Cancellation” to “Cancelled”. There is a $10 cancellation fee when accounts are cancelled either by the client or automatically when a “Extend Due Date” request is not posted. You can cancel DSL orders before they become active (COMPLETED) for no charge.
