Background
On this page: Answers to the most commonly asked questions among potential resellers.

What do I get when I sign up as a reseller?

When you become a Xila Broadband reseller you instantly gain access to just about everything we offer, including the CRW, the BACC, the ability to place new DSL orders, place new bundle orders and VoIP orders. We charge a nominal $145.00 sign up fee to get started, included in this fee is a custom domain of your choice which we will point directly to your custom retail web site and the BACC system, completely pricate labeling these services for you.

If you would like to utilize Covad's coverage area or our Flex Rates an additional fee will apply to enable these features and can be paid from your account after becoming a reseller.

Who owns my customers accounts?

Your customers, and their accounts, are owned by you. We do not make any claim to the ownership or control over an account. You are free to move accounts between our service and someone else's service. The contract outlines that no contact will be made between Xila and your direct customers unless permission is granted. Therefore, as long as your not in violation of the wholesale agreement, you remain the owners of your customers.

Only a computer with internet access is needed, no special equipment is needed to join or utilize the reseller program. Hardware is required to utilize DSL and VOIP, find more information here.

Your customers that have a home telephone at their residence or business will usually have an activation date ranging from 3-5 days from the day you place the order. Dry loop DSL can take up to 2-4 weeks in some cases. Voice services are activated (and a phone number assigned) within the hour when the DSL order is completed.
