As much requested by many of our resellers, we have now enabled the ability to activate VoIP outside of bundle plans. Our VoIP only offering includes a suite of unlimited plans, all with DID's included.

We still strongly believe however that promoting bundle plans will generate the most income for our resellers, and in fact it has been proven over and over again since their release, but for those of you who wish to focus on VoIP or offer VoIP to customers that already have broadband service and do not want to swtich, your now free to do so.

Xila Broadband Bundle Plan Margin Example

As you may know we are integrating VOIP with the Xila Broadband system allowing clients to offer bundles of DSL and home telephone for one flat monthly fee. We went around a few of the big guys web site and did some price comparisons. Below is how your bundles compare with theirs.

Starting with AT&T
We used Dallas as the location on the AT&T web site so the offer used in the example below may differ a little depending on location.

As you can see AT&T is offering it's lowest DSL package with unlimited US long distance for just $60 a month.

Compare that to our bundles available in AT&T areas.

The Xila Broadband bundle plan above includes 1.5Mbps DSL with Unlimited Home Phone. And unlinke AT&T's bundle also includes Unlimited Calling to Canada. If you were to offer this plan at the same price AT&T is in the example ($60) above you would generate $15.05 from each subscriber. This is an amazaing margin. In addition, with that much room to flex your price you can also easily undercut AT&T in this example.

For AT&T areas it's imortant to keep in mind the customer would still need a home phone with them to get your DSL in the first place so you would basically sell your bundle in these locations as a second / unlimited long distance line solution. The customer would likely want the lowest home telephone pricing available in their area from AT&T.

Moving on to Comcast
Comcast offers their phone and internet bundles ONLY when the customer also has digital cable, it's an add on (at least on their web site). As you can see from the image to the right the bundle even as an add on to digital cable is $69.00 a month.

If you were to offer the above Wholesale plan for $59.99 a month (thats $10 less that the Comcast bundle used in our example) you would generate a income of $12.04 from each customer. Again, another great margin with room for flexibility.

In our other research our bundle plans will also allow you to beat out Earthlink in just about all areas they offer bundled DSL and home phone service.

Verizon offers bundled phone & internet for $49.99 a month. This price can be matched with our bundle plan ID XV59996 in VER areas (dry loop) and with XV60044 in VERTAS areas (dry loop). Your margins will be a little smaller when trying to match Verizons current offer however it is a temporary offer in which the customer would save $25 a month.

Drop Ship Modems Directly to Your Customers!

Today we are introduing a drop shipping tool which will allow you to have a modem sent directly to your customer, no more ordering modems in bulk.

We are very happy to introduce this tool which hopefully encourages you to place more orders with us. To use the drop shipping tool you must first place a order for DSL for a customer. You can view detailed instructions on using the new drop ship tool on our website.

Modems are shipped with the return address of your business (as on file in BACC) and with a from name of "DSL Order Fulfillment". Your customer will NOT know that Xila Broadband shipped them the modem. Once an activation date has been assigned on the DSL order we will promptly ship the modem, the tracking number will be available on the customers account via BACC for reference.

You may still order modems from us in bulk by contacting your sales rep, the order modem option on the reseller menu however is being removed from BACC.

The drop shipping tool is available for immediate use.

Xila Broadband is happy to announce the release of CRW or the Custom Retail Website. Now you can offer DSL online in minutes with your custom retail website. CRW is fully customizable from within BACC and is now available for all clients.

Features:

Your customers can pre-qualify themselves online for residential or business DSL
Upload your own custom logo
Choose your own company name to display on the site
Set four featured residential plans and four featured business plans to show on the front of you website
Customers can place orders on your site, orders are them emailed to you.
Supports Credit Card, PayPal, Money Order, and Check (information is emailed to you).

Few important notes you should know before using your CRT.

1. We've added a "Long Description" to the plan creation section of BACC allowing you to enter a long description of your plans in addition to the already short description. BOTH are used on your CRT and it's important that you make sure both are pre-filled. You can changed plan descriptions in BACC by going to "Reseller > Rate Configuration" and modifying the needed plan.

2. If a customer pre-quality's on your website and you do not have custom plans created for their area they will be told their is no service available at their address, it's important that you create ALL your custom plans as soon as possible.

3. When linking to your CRT you MUST use the link provided in BACC or your website will not work.

We've slashed rates (some by up to $10) on over 80 wholesale DSL plans.

We are officially moving away from our "one price for all speeds on all networks" pricing so we can pass on the savings to our clients.

The rate changes take effect immediatly for those of you who have actually paid your annual fee. November 2008 Wholesale DSL Announcments

These are your November 2008 announcements from Xila Broadband. Each month our team puts together these crucial announcements providing an insight to what's happening behind the scenes at Xila Broadband.

Now accepting credit cards within BACC!
We are VERY happy to announce that we are now accepting Visa & Master Card from within BACC. You can use either to add funds to your account starting now. Before using any credit card you must add it to your account, you will find this is easily done from within BACC. Choose "Reseller > Add Funds" as usual from the main menu. By accepting credit cards we've taken out the extra steps you would normally experience when using PayPal. PayPal will continue to remain a payment option as welll, however a new $10 service fee will be deducted from any funds you add using PayPal in the future.

Online Sign up for new Clients
We're excited to announce the development of our online sign up procedure is just about finished and is expected to become available for new clients on Tuesday November 11th. This will allow new clients to become part of the Wholesale DSL program without faxing in documentation but instead spending 10 minutes on our easy online sign up process.

Order Modems via BACC
Also launching on Tuesday is the ability to order modems from within the Broadband Account Control Center. Using the administrator login you will choose "Reseller > Order Modems" on the main menu. As usual, modems ship out the same day if you place your order before 2PM CST.

Incentives for November
If your new to the program and havent started actually selling the DSL service as of yet, now is the time. For the entire month of November we'll be offering account credits as shown below. Remember folks, this is REAL MONEY. You can use these credits to offer your customers first month free and a wide array of other discounts.

Place 10 or less new orders in November, get a $10 credit for each.

5 = $50 credit
10 = $100 credit

Place 20 or more new orders in November, get a $20 credit for each.

20 = $400 credit

Retail Website In The Works
We are in the process of creating a generic website from which you can actually sell your DSL service from the web with no design or integration skill required. This website will be fully controlled from within BACC and will allow for custom branding. For those of you looking forward to selling on the web but can't find the right way to make it happen, this is your solution.
